Stopped here for a bite and drink before a show nearby--this place was absolutely hoppin'. Cute ambiance and fast, friendly service. We ordered a salad, croquettes, and the lamb ragu. Everything came out fast and was delicious. 5/5, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for good Italian in Hayes Valley.

Had a wonderful dinner at this cozy Italian spot! The Lambrusco was delightful, the pasta was fantastic, and the truffle honey on the burrata was a standout! Perfect place for a leisurely meal before heading to the ballet- highly recommend for a pre performance dinner!

My daughter and I were excited for our night out to see Hamilton at the Orpheum Theatre and had already chosen a restaurant based on its great reviews. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we found it closed with just a note on the door. Disappointed but undeterred, we decided to keep walking and find another spot that caught our eye. We were thrilled to discover Doppio Zero, drawn in by the menu posted outside that helped us make a quick, informed decision. What a gem! We were warmly welcomed and seated right away. Their drink menu featured some creative cocktails that we couldn't wait to try--and they did not disappoint. My daughter opted for the vegan ravioli, which she said were among the best she's ever had. I chose the Carciofi Fritti (crispy artichokes) from the small plates menu along with the Little Gem salad, making for a perfectly light and satisfying meal. Though the restaurant was bustling and the tables were quite close together, it still felt cozy and intimate, like we were in our own little world. I especially enjoyed my seat with a view of the intersection, which made for some great people-watching. The service was outstanding from start to finish. I'd happily eat here again and am excited to know there are other locations closer to home!

Doppio is one of my favorite italian spots in sf. Their potato croquet is really good, especially the sauce, and the ravioli. The seafood pasta is also super good.

We stopped by to eat by accident. Wanted to eat in the city before heading over to Tracy. The ambiance, lighting energy are just what we needed after a long day of work. The servers were very nice. Greeted us warmly and traced to our needs. We ordered the Margherita Pizza and added Italian salami and a beet salad. The beet salad had Stracciatella Cheese, something new to me and it was very tasty. In the pizza, I had the Italian salami and that must be an accuired taste because I did not care for it. Overall, I enjoyed it and with come again if I'm in the area.

I came by here for lunch. The ambiance is great, the place is huge. It was surprisingly empty (only 3 other tables of diners). I had pizza the night before, so I decided to pass on it for then. Instead I got an Arugula salad - it was really good, I'd recommend. Potion wise, it was a little small, but great fresh ingredients.

I chose this spot for lunch after my city hall wedding ceremony because it's a 10 min walk away. We arrived on a Thursday morning at 11:35am, 5 min after they opened. No other costumers were there so we had our choice of table. The service was great! Our food and drinks came out fast. I honestly didn't notice the restaurant before even though I walk around the area all the time. It's on the corner but there's so many restaurants there. It's well lit, homey, and a new favorite for sure! We started with a Cab and Pinot Grigio. Funnily all of the guys in our family drank red and all the girls drank white. For appetizers, we ordered the Bread Basket, Polpettine (meatballs), and Polpo Alla Griglia (octopus). Everything was good but the meatballs were the best! We ordered another plate to share because it was just that good. We also shared the Fungo pizza and another white pizza that had fig and prosciutto. Again, the guys liked the mushrooms and the girls were intrigued with the sweet and salty topping. Everyone's individual order was a pasta. I had the Ravioli. It was very creamy but not overwhelming. The portion was perfect. The others had the Fettuccine Short Ribs and the Gnocchi. I highly recommend coming here!

Always a good time when eating here. I came here with the wifey a while back when they had their sf restaurant week, the vibes were chill and fancy. The food was fresh and amazing. The food came out quick and we couldn't have asked for a better lunch. Check them out. Ig@blacktigereats
